Dirty white

Taupe blazer from Forever 21 / Cream sweater from PacSun / Quilted mint bag from LuLu's / Light wash jeans from PacSun / Twisted gold necklace from Joe Fresh 

You know how people say that wearing white is a magnet for a spill? I've noticed that I do drop things on my white shirts frequently. So much so, that I'm starting to wonder if all my clothes are food-stained and gross. Maybe I'm not messier when I wear white. Maybe my other clothes are just darker so the food gets camouflaged. 

Similarly, I seem to have a thing for dropping chocolate on my jeans at awkward times. The first time, I dropped chocolate on my thigh right before standing up in front of the class to do a presentation. The second time was again on my thigh at school. Because I didn't want it to stain, I *subtly* tried to rub off the chocolate. On my thigh. Then I swear that someone was trying to talk me up as this happened. Let the record show that rubbing a spot on your thigh is never a good idea in public, not even because of food stains.

    Rofl, I think most of my clothes have a history of all kinds of stains, you can basically guess what I've been eating throughout the year :D
    Love the casual outfit here, the blazer adds a nice officey twist, but still looks super comfy and effortless!

    I have seriously wondered the same thing about stains on all of my shirts! I think that's why I used to be drawn to black for the longest time because that's the best color at camouflaging food stains. I think I'm just a clumsy eater though.

    Now, your post makes me think twice about myself and food stain. I'm a really clumsy person so I do have a lot of curry spots or spots from black sauce on my white jeans.

    Love the waffle stitch sweater and taupe blazer... yes they are vulnerable to spills! Heavens yes, I would need a bib myself!

    haha so true! i am the absolute worst when it comes to white clothes haha. i always just think back to when I made an entirely white garment for my final during freshman year. lets just say that did not end well haha. i loveeee that blazer though! so chic :D

    Love this outfit, so casual yet stylish due to the color combination. I gotta say I feel you on this one, I once dropped chocolate ice-cream on my white t-shirt and another time I dropped foundation on my white jeans, argh!!! Apparentely one has to be extremely careful while wearing white! ;)

    Bahaha, oh man, I never thought of that. I should inspect my clothes and see if I'm as messy in them as I am in white clothing...

    Two words: Tide Pen!! It's a lifesaver! I am always spilling coffee on myself and it has helped so many times. I don't know why but spilling something on yourself seems to happen at the most awkward times possible.

    Love the neutral tones of this outfit & how you've paired a coloured purse with it :)
