2013 hasn't even been here for 24 hours yet, and I already have regrets. Having regrets is one thing, but I amplify my regrets by obsessing about them at every chance I get. I could have made resolutions to forbid myself from obsessing over little things excessively, but then I would start obsessing over being too obsessive. So I shall continue regretting my most recent haircut. These photos were taken before the haircut. Please leave me while I weep for my hair. Yes, I've been whimpering, "My haaaaiiiirrr!" upon looking at these photos. If you've never had a bad haircut, you are in no position to judge my actions.

I cut all my hair off in a short bob in the summer of 2011 and it was the worst thing! I have been growing it ever since with the occasional trim, and it's finally long again - so I can def. relate to the feeling of regret!
ReplyDeleteBut - the great thing about hair is that it grows back! In the interim? Take some time to figure out how to style your new cut so it looks the best it can! And I"m sure it is much better than you think!
Ohh don't worry Sabrina! I think you can still style it good! Happy new year my dear! :)

This is a really cute outfit, something I'd wear :) I'm sorry about your hair, I've had a horrible hair cut before and it sucks.

LOVE this post! You look too cute. I'm loving those booties and hat =) Such great styling. I hear you about your resolutions though. I obsess over things sooo much.I laughed when you wrote that you'd then be "obsessing over obsessing too much". lol Maybe we can help each other =)Do you have twitter? I clicked on your twitter button but it just took me to my own twitter page. I'd love it if you added me =D My ID is Sensiblestylist. I hope to see you there!

You're right Sabrina, I am in no position to make fun of you for weeping over a bad hair cut, BUT I promise you it looks great to me! Plus what better way to break out your entire hat collection, even the ones you've never worn? Looks like you're on the right track :) love this outfit! Super chic, and I wish I were better at pairing tights and shorts like that!!

Aww I am sure your new hair is lovely, I know how scary it was when I went from long to short but have fun styling up the length you have now and you will hopefully stop stressing! Happy new year! x
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's not as bad as you think, but I feel your pain. I got a cut two months ago that I hated. Living in a new city/country, I'm terrified to just walk into a place from off the street and entrust someone with my (albeit increasingly shaggy) do. When I finally do break down, my consolation if it's horrible will be that it will always grow back. :)
