Apparently I needed a reminder that belts can actually be used for functionality. I'd say I own about 10 belts. However, I've discovered that the majority of these do not actually function as a traditional belt. First, we've got our wide statement belts that don't actually fit through belt loops. Then there are the belts that are meant to be cinched around the waist. That's great that they give you the illusion of better curves and all, but they're not much help when it comes down to making pants snug around your hips. So that means that the majority of belts I own either don't fit through belt loops and/or aren't long enough to go around my hips. I feel like this is one of those "you know you're a fashion girl when..." moments.

I've got plenty of belts and they keep the pants from falling down my waist.
