16 again

Anyone from my high school can tell you that it was (and still is) a huge deal for me to wear a hoodie, graphic tee, or sweats.  In fact, I lacked lounge clothes so much, I ended up wearing jeans as my pajamas to a few sleepovers.  Thanks to West49, I had the opportunity to re-live the memories of my 16 year old self's inability to shop for typical casual student wear.

If anyone's counting, it takes about an hour and a half to try on pretty much everything in the women's section.  After multiple trips to the changerooms and somewhat crazily talking to myself to hurry up and make a choice, I finally ended up swallowing my indecision and picked out a cozy flannel shirt.  Even more triumphantly, I also managed to end my quest for the perfect pair of white shorts that are thick enough to hide my brightly coloured panties underneath. Hourray for corduroy!

    Love the plaid, especially with the layering and the scarf! I definitely don't have your lounge-wear problem- plaid and spandex and comfy sweats are in abundance in my closet, as I enjoy looking like a complete slob at home, particularly in winter haha!

    not sure if they are still there, but earlier in the summer, zara (i store i normally loathe, but that is another story) had some blazers made out of sweatshirt material.... very comfortable and more structured than a hoodie. worth checking out.
