Walk, walk, [Ottawa] fashion, baby

Ottawa Fashion Week has proudly announced that its latest designer to sign on for its S/S '12 season is Simon Ekrelius.  Now before I let the pictures speak for themselves, I have two words for you: Lady Gaga.

Aside from showing in showing at London Fashion Week and being featured in numerous media outlets, Ekrelius is also celebrated for dressing the fashion monster herself, Lady Gaga.  Like Gaga's typical attire, his creations are fabulously quirky and questionably unique.  I'm working with Ottawa Fashion Week again this season and I swear, I will be starstruck if I am in his mere presence.  If I so much as speak a word to him, I will declare that I know Lady Gaga by 6 degrees of separation.  I guess that means that if you're enthusiastic enough, you could totally declare the same thing through me.
