Summer sunnies

It was a sad day yesterday. Well, it began lovely.  I walked out to a lovely gentle sunshine after a harsh rainstorm, reaching into my bag for my favourite oversized round sunglasses. Too bad part of the frame fell off.  Right where it's supposed to sit on the ear.  It appears that a screw fell off.  I'm tempted to try to repair it, but it's probably not worth my while trying to fix $6 sunglasses.  I've had them for 3 years too, so I suppose they lasted a fair amount of time.  I may need to resurrect them for one last time though- I realized that I never got to do an outfit photo with them!

So I need to be on the hunt now for a good replacement.  Should I find something nearly identical?  Same shape?  Same colour (black)?  Or forget about the old and set my eyes on something completely different?
...Or, they're only $6 and I can afford to buy both.

The pair that just broke comes closest to the first pair- classic black glasses that are too big for my face. Black and brown are good staples to have since they match just about anything, but I've been particularly enthusiastic lately about coloured frames.  I have a round face, so apparently round glasses don't match my face type.  Which is why I might opt for a more rectangular pair.  Whatever shape my face is, it doesn't make me lust any less for those round glasses!
