Like any good student, I like to have my priorities straight. Sure, I could prioritize my exam tomorrow, but I'd rather worry about what to wear to the Toronto Alternative Arts & Fashion Week in 2 weeks. I put together this little number from Topshop pieces. This outfit is some inspiration that I'm using to put together an outfit for one of the days at [FAT]. It may be a tad too daytime for a fashion show, so that's where I'll see what I can conjure up from my own closet. The two-toned romper is a great base piece. To make it more of an evening piece, I decided to go with patterned stockings to add some oomph to the outfit. The next decision was the shoes. While heels is always a nice formal choice, the 70s styled romper led me to go with equally retro-inspired chunky wedges. The bag not only matches the romper, but its size would be great for carrying a camera, notepad, and other miscellaneous items one might bring to a fashion show. The other accessories (tasseled belt, flower headband, bangles) are meant to glam up the outfit with fairly edgy pieces.
