The final day of Ottawa Fashion Week began with the street styles of The Escape Movement. This was also the only collection to feature menswear, which gathered much interest from our minority male youth audience. Using mostly urban greys and cool navy, The Escape Movement brought a great ready-to-wear collection to the runway. This collection was different from the rest because many of the garments featured the word 'Escape' or the company's logo, a feather. Even the jewellery that some of the models were wearing kept with this theme. While I appreciate casual street style and did like this collection, I would have preferred something a little more out of the ordinary to hit the runway.
All photos were taken by me, but belong to Ottawa Fashion Week.
Do enjoy the photos- I sat under a tripod because there was no where else to sit in the photo pit! I do hope bruised knees were worth the photo sacrifice!
I sort of like this one since it had that cool hip look.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember seeing you under the tripods :P lol
